Warwick Beacon High School Football Coach of the Year (2011)
NFHS Football Coach of the Year (2014)
USA Today Rhode Island High School Football Coach of the Year (2016)
His leadership roles include Vice President (2016-2018) and President (2018-2020) of the RI Football Coaches Association (RIHSFCA).
His coaching achievements include leading the Hawks' freshman team to the 2004 State Championship and guiding the varsity program to 12 Rhode Island State Championships over the past 14 years. He's contributed to the New England Patriots' Chris Slade Football Camp and Joe Andruzzi Day Camp, and lectured at both the New England Football Clinic at Gillette Stadium and the Big New England Football Clinic.
Coach Croft holds a B.S. in Physical Education from Rhode Island College with endorsements in Health and Adaptive Physical Education, plus a Master's in Educational Leadership. Since 2001, he has worked in Cranston Public Schools as a teacher and administrator, currently serving as principal of Hugh B. Bain Middle School.
